Very charming B&B! Fanny, our host, was friendly and helpful. They have on site parking and check in/check out process was easy. The room was small but comfortable for our family of 4 with a queen bed in one room and a bunk bed in an annex room. Location is quiet so we didn’t have any problem with noise. Bathroom is good, as well. The best part was the breakfast with a variety of bread and cakes, jam, honey, tea, juice, hot chocolate. Great experience I highly recommend this B&B
You will not regret to come and stay in this hotel. The staff is fantastic and in case you do not speak English let me tell you very few people will speak English in a lot of restaurants and hotels in the rural France area. The views are just stunning and the food at the restaurant is like Michelin stars. Highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful stay here. It is right on bicycle greenway and the Nathalie the innkeeper offer us her garage to store our recumbent trikes where we charged them overnight. The room was large and tidy and the patio was inviting. Breakfast was all homemade and excellent.
The room was very clean and comfortable. They were friendly and available when need anything. Budget-wise to use this hotel. It’s nice to have easy free parking.
Lovely breakfast, big and quiet room even though it faced the square, practically on top of the abbey and near the walkable cute city centre, staff very nice and friendly with our quiet dog.
Steps from the train station, Gare de Chalone, our check-in was efficient with English and French speaking clerks. Good explanation of facilities, WiFi, spa and restaurant options. Room was exceptionally clean, bathrobes and slippers were welcome after the redeye flight. Great showers and water pressure, climate controls easy to understand. Buffet breakfast includes eggs, cheese, charcuterie, juices, and champagne. Easy walk to bars/coffee shops/restaurants/brassieres. Will definitely stay...
The hotel is fantastic, the pool and the amenities in general are very neat. They offer us a baby crib and the front desk people were fantastic. The only bad side is if you do not speak French it was very difficult to get service at the one restaurant available because no one but the front decal and the manager speak English. I guess if you travel to a country where French is the first languages expected however for the price I would have expected more English friendly service.
We spent 2 nights on the property in October. It is like traveling in time. This is a very old construction. We enjoy the stay.
It must be nice to spend a week there in summer to enjoy the country (hike or ride bicycle).

This is a wonderful property off the beaten path. It is perfect for spending a weekend enjoying the countryside and nearby cities like Lyon, Dijon, and Macon.
Property was quaint and very country. Faucet in bathroom dripped all night, bed pillows very uncomfortable. The staff was amazing and the food was great though! So happy staff spoke English. Would stay again.
