I had an excellent stay at the Rosenhugel in June. The owner/hosts Hildegard & Monika were very friendly and considerate. My train was delayed and I arrived after check in time, but Monika arranged for self check in with a key card which was perfect. The included breakfast was hearty and very fresh and all of the staff greet the guests with a warm Guten Morgen! each day. This is a charming hotel and we had a wonderful third floor view. The only challenge you might encounter, besides no lift, is the church across the square that rings the bells every quarter hour 24 hours per day. If you stay long enough it is probably white noise, but we were aware of it. During the day there is a long pretty bell lyric on the hour, but during sleeping hours it is simply the quarter hour gong.
