"Horel is in need of an upgrade Really outdated and poor condition. Rooms and decor are tired. Not much choice at breakfast "

"This is without the best hotel in its class. I could not say anymore. If you need hotel around the Newport / Cardiff this should choice without question. I have travelled extensively worldwide and this place is like coming home "

"Great staff throughout. Decent standard rooms and breakfast was OK. Better quality coffee at breakfast wouldn’t go a miss, the Nescafé machine is awful."

"On arrival at 5.45pm was told that would need to eat at 6pm as was too busy later on, 2nd evening was a curry event so had to travel out both evenings for food. Was told breakfast was u till 10am however it finished at 9.30am. Was told checkout on the Saturday was 10am however it was 11am on weekend, also housekeeping entered our room at 9.10am to clean we hadn’t even had our breakfast delivered which was due at 9.45 and was cold. "

"Yes the room was clean there was many towels soap clean sheets the menu has a variety of food and drinks there are many parking spaces "

"Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. The spa was closed (main reason for booking) and only found out during check in, however we able to use the spa facilities at their neighbor hotel at The Celtic Manor Resort, which is a gorgeous resort and we got to use the facilities on check in day and after check out too! Was a nice weekend overall."
