My stay was not planned well in advance. I had a fairly traumatic day with a lot of stress and being on the edge of heatstroke. I was supposed to have been hundreds of kilometers away but could not make it there. I booked the room at Lo Spedalicchio as it was close and well reviewed. The woman working there, Susanna ( I'm sorry if the spelling is wrong), was amazing. She was very helpful and attentive. I was at a very low point and my stay there was great! Thank you!

Absolutely breathtaking!!! The rooms, the view the service and the location. WOW!! And Salvatore is an absolute gem. We were unsure of how to get there and so he told us to call him when we were nearing the hotel and he stayed with me on the phone and guided our every turn. He waited for us outside so we wouldn’t miss it. Talk about outstanding service. Every room is so charming and tastefully decorated and has the most beautiful views. And just a short and beautiful walk to get to the center....

It was a great stay and we loved the resident cat! The only problem we had was the inconsistency with WiFi. Anyone who needs total access at all times should not stay here. Otherwise I would have given a + rating. Assisi was one of our favorite places to visit in Italy and we highly recommend for all to stay here. Note: town closes down by 8:30-9:00pm. Oh almost forgot they have parking and the bus stops are right close to hotel!
