"Clean large beautiful room on the 8th floor. I paid 170US for one night. View of the ocean was great. There was a Chinese grocery store nearby that had many items and in particular oatmeal. The hotel was 100m from my bus pick up point at Mundos which was great since the pick up time was 530am.
Though i didn't need it, the doorman brought my bag to the cheetah express bus pick up point down the street. It gave me confidence i was in the right place as I'm traveling alone and new to the area."
"Our stay was lovely. The staff were super nice and kind. They welcomed us in such a warm way, as well as for the farewell.
The atmosphere was great. The food was exquisite. I was there with my mom and we had a lovely time.
We can only say positive and good things about the hotel and their staff. We can’t wait to come back already!

"The staff were sweet and the restaurant was great. However there is a general lack of maintenance . Wasn’t just us, on speaking to other guests they all had issues with their rooms.
We had three rooms
1) First room had a leak in the roof- occasionally. Probably when upstairs was showering
2) Second room -Electricity kept tripping and needed to be continually requested to switch back on
3) third room had an underground leak which FLOODED the entire room. Twice! Eventually after 2 nights of camping in other peoples rooms, we were Offered another room. Upstairs, no self catering, no apology or refund.
It’s unfortunate because otherwise it’s a great place to stay. However we will not be going back

"We had a 5 night stay in Dec25. The staff were very welcoming and warm, with a smile. The buffet breakfast was simple but nice, and there was a Chef cooking individual egg facility for omelettes, etc. The hotel buildings, layouts, terraces, beach access and 2x pools were fine physically, clean and presentable, offering sun and shade. Our room was of good size and had a great little balcony to sit out on. However, the Management need to prioritise resources to ensuring reported faults are attended to promptly, so that guests are not lacking in functional amenities (eg. in the room). We had reported 5 issues, of which none were fixed before we left. Perhaps it is our taste in music / ambience, but we found the attractive bar area swamped by the TV sports channel, only being watched by the barman! And the restaurant background music was quite lound and bassy, of a modern hip genre, not in keeping with the colourful colonial style of the buildings. We enjoyed our stay, but it could be so much better if more thought went into the audio ambience and ALL room functionality worked."
