"The room we grabbed was excellent. 2 bedrooms. Bathrooms nice. Nice screened porch. AC was a little finicky but I figured it out. They allowed early check in which was great for us. Appliances were fine. Smoke detector was Uber sensitive and alarmed every time we used the toaster! Location was great."

The rooms are beautiful and very clean.
The roof top bar (PomPom) is gorgeous. The staff are kind, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast at Catalina in the hotel is great as well. If you choose outdoor seating be mindful of the roosters and grackles. They’re not too much of a bother but can be a little pesky.
The pool is amazing as well. Although, I will say if you are looking for a more adult friendly experience it may not be where you would like to spend your time. There isn’t much of a separation between the children’s pool area and the adult pool area and it is a very family friendly establishment.
The beach is beautiful. To get there you can ask the concierge to take you over, it’s across the road (less 2-3min drive). The hotel provides a free golf cart service to and from the beach at your convenience.
Once you’re on the beach, there’s free towel service and staff who can help you with food and drink orders. Seating areas are free and designated depending on what hotel you are staying in. The cabanas can be purchased for a fee. When we stayed it was the second row from the shore.
