"Well kept old hotel. Great food, staff and amenities. Accommodating late departures, extras in the room. Very helpful from the beginning. The VIP Executive lounge on the 8th floor is worth the additional fee. Includes breakfast buffet and eggs on demand, Drinks and light dinner at 18;30 hrs. Highly recommend staff on the 8th floor. Leopold on the main restaurant and the crew maintenance. The staff in the pool was also very accommodating. Reception staff outstanding. Thank you for a pleasant stay."
"Great location in central Yaounde. Perfect spot after a long flight or for business. Very nice modern facilities and courteous staff (in French and English). Street itself is actually quite quiet which is nice for Yaounde. Breakfast is great! "
"Extremely disappointing stay — listing is highly inaccurate
We spent 13 nights here for our honeymoon and were deeply disappointed. The property listing is very misleading: it claims there are six pools, but there is only one small pool (with no deck chairs or seating) and no garden area at all.
The amenities were equally poor. The washer and dryer were broken, and we were only provided with one bath towel for two people—no hand towels or face cloths or even a dish towel were available. The kitchen was barely functional, with an incomplete set of pots, cutlery, and utensils. To make matters worse, the cleanliness was unacceptable; the walls, windows, and kitchen counters were all visibly dirty. We expected a much higher standard for such a special occasion. You will also need to speak fluent French to have any type of conversation with staff."
