"Black Rock Lodge was absolutely amazing in so many ways: atmosphere in the rain forest, friendliest and most helpful and accommodating staff, the best included activities like hiking trails, views, tubing rapids, waterfalls, tree swings, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, the 4 course meals made from garden produce, bird watching- even at meals - staff was very knowledgable and helped point out variety of wildlife, and so many other tours the staff helps you plan and accommodate your needs. Our 18 and 20 year old said it was by far their favorite place we ever stayed at and my husband and I agree. Well done Black Rock Lodge!!?"

"The rooms are very nice but when the wind blows the trees hit the side walls of the building and makes it very difficult to sleep. Needs some maintenance on the trees"

The restaurant was also excellent, serving great food with a wide variety of options. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and we would definitely stay here again."
